Components
Q: Why are some plugins called Apps?
A: Although some of the plugins have “passive” javascripts they have a specific function and for the end user we class them as an App.
Use
Q: Can I use Boxxd in my company?
A: Yes, please do. Boxxd is open source.
Q: Can you modify it for our use?
A: We can modify it for your use. Please get in contact with us explaining what you would like to have done.
Automation and API
Q: Can I add my input to the API?
A: Yes, please do.
Templates
Q: I am missing a template for xyz. Where is it?
A: If you cannot find such a template, then it hasn’t been created :-( Please help to improve Boxxd by sending in your template.
Tools
Q: Do I need any special tools to use Boxxd?
A: Boxxd has been designed so that it can be used on the road with a simple text editor such as Windows notepad and a browser for the slide show. For extra functionality such as generating a website from your content you will need to have other software on your PC.

Q: In what way can I help?
A: You can help Boxxd grow by:
- Sending in document templates which you find useful
- Giving us feedback
- Letting us know that you are using it and in what use case
- Embedding scripts which can be used to provide functionality
- Building scripts for the API and automation
